Be undeniable

That’s what you need to focus on. Be so good they lose money by not casting you.

You can check out my IMDb, but who cares. Anyone can get lucky. To name a few of my credits, over the past 5 years, I’ve filmed with the Dallas Cowboys, and Helicopters for hero’s, and toured the country with Comedian Steve Trevino as he prepped for his first Netflix special. I was also one of the camera guys for the special, and directed 11 episodes of his unscripted series.

With 20+ years in the industry and training from Hollywood’s best, I know what works, and I certainly know what doesn’t. Be great. That’s literally all that matters.

I’ve produced for Oscar nominees, acted along side Emmy winners, and a number of amazing talented creatives. And ya know what? It means nothing. You can too. Taking classes or learning from people with “Credits” isn’t going to make you better. It’s just presented that way. It’s mostly nonsense.

The reason I’m able to continue working as a filmmaker is purely hustle. That’s it. I will out hustle anyone. I’ve been lucky enough to play with a camera while being paid for over 20 years.

I started my career as a staff writer for a few shows slated for Comedy Central, starring Chris Judd, Wayne Brady and Comedian Gabriel Iglesias. I produced films for Sally Kirkland, Richard Portnow, and Robert Costanzo.

From there, I opened a studio because I wanted to focus on YouTube. Hundreds of castings and productions used my studio from HBO, and the guys from Blue Mountain State. One of my staff teachers at the studio was Robert Romanus, and I got to shoot a few videos with him. He’s awesome. Most of the instructors and my production team all had Emmy’s. I was the first business in Los Angeles that gave actors the opportunity to produce for themselves, and everyone said it was dumb. Well, look at all of us now! Lol. Those that didn’t keep up, lost. Self-Producing content is everything.

I’m stoked to launch here in Texas. I directed commercials for Indian Motorcycles with Eric Roberts, Ford, and currently produce content for local businesses in and around San Antonio, Austin, and Houston.

Train. Audition. Write. Film. Watch yourself. Get better. Do it again.

I know this industry very well, and it’s nowhere near the same as it was. You need footage. You can’t argue with this. Footage is the only thing you have control over. And if you’re completely broke, and can’t afford my service, or other acting classes in San Antonio, You can still do it. Call me and I’ll tell you what you can do on your own for free. No strings. Call me. 323-380-7850. Ask for Mike. I always pick up.
