I'm not a big fan of articles that start with "Rules." When it comes to creating content for your business, there really are no strict rules. Content creation is really subjective, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution. It's kind of silly when people try to impose rules for creating content.

In my opinion, there's really only one guideline to follow: choose one person to lead your video content efforts. Many people just want to be heard or don't realize that their ideas are pretty basic and uninteresting. With so much competition online, there's just no time to cater to egos. Choose one person to lead the way, and allow others to share their concerns privately. The key is to keep things moving

Having a great product and a strong team means you can't really go wrong. From my experience, the only time you'll struggle with content creation is when it lacks depth. For Example, I Once Had To Create Videos For A Printer Toner Company That Was Selling Toner Cartridges At Double The Price Compared To Those Sold On Amazon. Your Content Should Really Reflect Your Company's Vibe And Values. It Wasn't Easy To Sell The Idea Of Paying More For Printer Ink, lol.

Let go of the idea that everything has to be perfect. The only data I have on that thought is common sense. In all honestly, it’s more on your intent. Get over it.

I truly believe that integrity and authenticity are the keys to creating effective business content. Stick to that simple guideline, and you'll be just fine!
