Interested in producing a short film for your business?

Below is a hilarious project I was invited to help produce. This will filmed at my old studio in Los Angeles. Written and Directed by Jeffery L. Parks and Heather Horton.

Creating content that’s outside the box can do wonders for your business. Most businesses fall into the same pattern. Clean shots, safe messaging, predictable edits. It looks good—but it feels like everything else. The problem is, people don’t remember “good.”

They remember different. Outside-the-box content isn’t about being weird for the sake of it. It’s about finding a way to show your business that actually feels real, human, and a little unexpected. Sometimes that means breaking the rules.

Instead of a perfectly lit interview, maybe it’s a conversation happening naturally while you’re working. Instead of a polished voiceover, maybe it’s raw audio that feels real. Instead of explaining what you do, maybe you just show it in a way that makes people feel something. That’s what sticks.

People are constantly scrolling. They’ve seen the same style of content over and over again. Their brain knows how to ignore it. But when something feels different—even slightly—it creates a pause. That pause is everything. That’s where attention turns into interest. And interest is what leads to action.

It’s Not About Equipment. A lot of creators lead with gear. Better camera. Better lighting. Better everything. But none of that matters if the content feels like everything else. You can shoot something simple, raw, and honest—and if the idea is strong, it will outperform something overproduced every time. That’s why I always lead with ideas first. Bringing It Back to Your Business

If you’re a business in Austin or the Texas Hill Country, you already have something unique. Your environment. Your story. Your personality. Outside-the-box content is just about capturing that in a way people don’t expect. It doesn’t have to be complicated. It just has to feel real.

The goal isn’t to make content that looks like everyone else. The goal is to make content that people remember. Because when people remember you, they come back. And when they come back, they buy. If you’re looking to create content that actually stands out, I’d love to help.
